Any team fishing from a new or used Ranger boat and meeting clothing and decal requirements is eligible to compete in the Sun Country Ranger Cup Option. The program will offer cash prizes at the eight qualifying tournaments and the Bonus Tournament in addition to a chance to win cash and merchandise at the Championship. 

1.       The Ranger Cup Option entry fee is $65/team.

2.       Contestants must wear Ranger shirts and display a Ranger Cup decal on the on the drivers side windshield of the Ranger boat from start through weigh in of any Ranger Cup competition entered.  Both team members are required to meet the clothing requirement.

3.       The Ranger Cup competition will be held at the eight qualifying tournament and the Bonus Tournament.

4.       Approved Ranger shirts must have a Ranger logo at least four inches in length displayed on the front of the shirt and a Ranger logo at least 10 inched long displayed on the back of the shirt.  There can be no logo displayed higher than the Ranger logo.  Specific Ranger Cup clothing requirements may be obtained from the Ranger Boats website.

5.       The Ranger Cup logoed patch must be sewn or monogrammed on either sleeve of the shirt.  Ranger Cup Packs, containing four official Ranger Cup clothing patches and two official Ranger Cup decals and Ranger shirts are available from Ranger Boats.  Order them directly from the rangerboats.com web site.  

6.       Contestants entering the Ranger Cup competition accumulate points based on their order of finish in the Ranger Cup competition, beginning with 50 for 1^st, 49 for 2^nd etc. down to 1 point, or no more entries, which ever occurs first.  The best five tournaments are counted for the point competition and contestants may enter as many tournaments as they wish, including the Championship. 

7.       Awards are distributed as follows:

a)       $1000 for winning a Sun Country qualifying tournament fishing out of a Ranger Boat.

b)       $500 for the highest finishing team fishing out of a Ranger Boat at a Sun Country qualifying tournament that did not win the tournament. 

c)       $1000 plus merchandise is awarded to the 1^st place point accumulation winner at the Championship Tournament.    

d)       $500 is awarded to the 2^nd place point accumulation winner at the Championship Tournament.   

e)      $250 is awarded to the 3^rd place point accumulation winner at the Championship Tournament.

f)       4^th  through 7^th places will be paid $200, $175, $150 and $100 respectively at the Championship Tournament.
