Welcome to The 2012 SCBA Tournament Schedule
The format for 2012 will be a single division with 5 total tournaments. It will take 3 tournaments to qualify to Championship and rules and entry forms are posted. Super Team will qualify teams using 5, 4 tournaments with a total field of 21 teams to qualify. Angler of the Year will come out of Super Team and Ranger cup will stay as is. 2012 Tournament Schedule
Lake Amistad - March 3rd and 4th
The weather might be a challenge but it will be better than cold, windy and snow if winter goes as predicted. And as of this writing we are already looking forward to Spring.
Ute Lake - April 14th and 15th
Good weather might be in store but wind will probably be a given. The smallies should be moving and some big largemouths might be brought in for first of two trips to Logan NM
Lake Amistad - May 5th and 6th
Another return to Del Rio for the 3rd qualifier, some of the best fishing is in early March and we will get to test that theory this time around. The winds should have laid down and warm weather won't quite be here.
Elephant Butte Lake - July 14th and 15th
Another day in Paradise, beautiful sunrises but plenty to write home about if there is not too much boat traffic and too little water.
Ute Lake - August 11th and 12th
Hot weather but minimal winds should make this second trip to Logan NM a warm welcome for all. Final Super Team standings will be up for grab so expect a decent turnout.
Championship Tournament - Lake Falcon
Date: September 21st thru 28th
We have submitted a proposal to the Zapata Chamber of Commerce and will keep you posted but I am sure this will be where we end up for 2012.
